A tribute to the trees seems only right as 2008 ends. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Despite the hustle and bustle, I look forward to it every year. I look so forward to it that this year we put up 4 trees, plus I put up my parents. So now sadly it is time to take them down. Isn't it funny how fun it is to decorate for Christmas but what a chore it is to take it all back down? Although, I think this year I will have some competition in the sad to see it go department. Caroline loves having the trees up. In fact Christmas Day we had to take hers out of their toy room to make room for all that Santa brought and she was quite distraught that it was moved and the lights wouldn't come on so we had to move it so that we could still plug it in. She goes through the house each day when we get home and plugs all the trees in until bedtime. So goodbye Christmas trees and Hello 2009!
Our life, as busy as it seems, creates such precious memories for us as each day passes. This blog is to celebrate all the little things in life that we sometimes forget to appreciate.

Carson is learning to crawl. Look at him go. He is so funny to watch. It actually makes me sad to see. I can't believe he is already crawling.

Carson's 1st Christmas
Today was Christmas Day, and what fun it was. After a Christmas Eve celebrated at Aunt Cathy's as tradition, home we went to wait for Santa to visit. Now as a mom, I see the true joy of a child on Christmas morning. Today was Carson's 1st Christmas. At 6 months he wasn't quite aware that Santa came but he so enjoyed opening all his presents. Caroline ever the star of the show took her several turns in the spotlight. She got all the baby dolls Santa could fit in his sleigh including her first Barbie. After Santa off to Nonnee' and Papa's we went for Christmas breakfast. And another full day of fun. We thank God for all the gifts he has given us in our lives and for our family and friends that make our holidays so special. Merry Christmas to all!
What did SANTA BRING?!

Inspired to Blog
As busy as my life seems to be with a very busy 2 year old and a very happy 6 month old I have finally let my blogging friends inspire me. I must give credit to Kate Krull. Her blog is what really made my decision for me. It was so inspiring I thought that as horrible as I am with the computer I could at least give it a try. I have so much in my life to share and so this is where my blogging journey begins.
