Our life, as busy as it seems, creates such precious memories for us as each day passes. This blog is to celebrate all the little things in life that we sometimes forget to appreciate.

Skipping Stones
Saturday was suppose to be a busy day. Brad had ball tournaments in Memphis and the kids and I decided we would tag along for a long day in the HOT HUMID sun. The first game was just that. But by lunch the rest of the day became a wash or so we thought. It came a downpour which canceled the rest of the ball tournament so we headed home. Carson went down for nap and the rest of us changed into pajamas and decided on a lazy afternoon of movie watching. One movie down and it didn't take long before the rain had stopped and we got ants in our pants and were all itching to get out of the house. We decided surely the river would be deserted after the rain and gladly so. We decided to ride the kids down to the river. With a 3 year old and a 1 year old it is nice to be the ONLY ones at the boat ramp. We tried to show Caroline about skipping stones. Come on now, look hard for a special one that's smooth. But when your 3 the bigger the rock the bigger the splash right?! We ended up having a wonderful day. The weather was PERFECT! We just rode and rode with the windows down (Except when we splashed through the bottoms. The kids thought that was the best)We saw some deer and tons of bluebirds and lots of beautiful farmland which always looks so fresh just after a rain.
